Our London team provides front-end studies, engineering, procurement and project management services for initiating and executing oil & gas field, offshore wind HVDC, renewable energy and carbon capture developments. Our Business very much depends on our people; all our major achievements are team efforts.

We are currently looking for a Principal HVAC Engineer for our New Build team, the role will be based at our Chiswick office, UK. 

What will you be doing?

  • System design philosophy/design basis for HVAC systems with knowledge to functional requirements, control philosophy, operation philosophy
  • Evaluation of natural/mechanical ventilation
  • Calculations of air flow rate based on ventilation requirement and heat emission in rooms
  • Selection of HVAC equipment with regard to capacity and suitability
  • Calculation of HVAC utility requirements
  • Input to MEL (Master Equipment List)
  • Experience with feed report and detail execution
  • Package Responsible Engineer (PRE), procurement and follow-up of equipment, follow-up subcontractors
  • Input for production of schematic drawings 2D/3D

We think you should have:

  • Bachelor of Science/ Engineering with relevant experience within HVAC system design engineering from Oil & Energy, Marine or other relevant industry
  • Good understanding of project execution
  • Communication and co-operation skills, open and sharing
  • Self-contained and proactive - Solution and delivery oriented
  • Team working skills with the ability to work in an international environment
  • A drive for developing your expertise
  • Delivering results and meeting customer expectations
  • A technical and analytical mindset combined with commercial awareness
