"Over the last 11 years there have been many challenges - I've never been bored as there's always something new to try. Initially this was with increasing responsibilities as a Process Engineer - from being part of a team, to looking after a small job for myself and then leading a team on a much bigger project. The move to a sales environment presented many new and exciting challenges - the pace of work increased as tendering for work has much shorter timescales than project execution. Bids had to be juggled with time spent seeking the next opportunity, rather than focusing on just one project at a time. Multi-tasking features very strongly in my new role as Marketing Manager too; whilst dealing with everyday Public Relations enquiries I also have to be thinking of longer term strategies for the company to meet the future demands of our customers."
