In 2003 we developed a new People Policy. The process was extensive involving people at different levels around the globe. We are confident that our People Policy is a powerful tool in developing people and thus Aker Solutions.
Our People Policy reflects:
- Aker Solutions' position as a global industrial company with different businesses, 23.000 colleagues, and a presence in more than 30 countries on five continents.
- Aker Solutions as a performance and people oriented company respecting diversity and the integrity of each individual.
- Aker Solutions as a company committed to health safety and the environment and excellence in leadership.
We know our People Policy is an ambitious document describing the culture and environment that we want to achieve. We also know that we are not yet totally aligned with the policy at each and every work location, and that it will take some time to get there. However, the Executive Management Team has set a clear mandate that all of our operations will examine the policy and will give priority to making the changes necessary to fulfill the policy.
