Aker Construction, Inc. is the union construction arm of Aker Solutions, which provides a full range of construction, maintenance and renovation services to the North American industrial sector.
Our services are characterized by the highest standards of safety, quality, teamwork, innovation and cooperation, thus enabling us to respond to the needs of our customers and deliver on-time and in-budget performance.
Direct hire union construction, maintenance and renovation services are provided to the power, steel, chemical, petro-chemical, and other industrial sectors in North America. In addition, Aker Construction provides construction management and project planning services to the above sectors on an international basis.
Our corporate office is located just outside of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania with satellite offices located in Chicago, Illinois and Burlington, Ontario. In addition, we have multiple maintenance and service centers including Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; Burns Harbor, Indiana; Gary, Indiana; Hamilton and Nanticoke, Ontario and other various continuous presence at sites throughout United States and Canada. Capital projects are performed in all union areas of the United States and Canada.
Aker Construction has an operating philosophy that seeks to provide a complete range of construction and maintenance services and to develop close partnerships and strategic alliances with our clients, labor, suppliers, as well as other Aker Construction companies.
