Our lifecycle services cover conceptual design, engineering, procurement, project management, construction and commissioning whether for a completely new nuclear installation or new build within an existing site.
We have been involved in a number of projects at British Nuclear Group's Sellafield site, commencing with SIXEP, then the MASWEP Encapsulation Plants, and also WVP. We also provided commissioning management teams for key sections of THORP and worked jointly with BNFL Springfields for the commissioning of the NOFC Fuel Plant.
The design and construction contracts for the Enhanced Actinide Removal Plant (EARP) and the Box Encapsulation Plant (BEP) and Product Store (as leader of the KAT Nuclear JV) have also been executed by Aker Solutions, both over GBP130 million in value.
