MultiBooster

MultiBooster

The award winning MultiBooster system consists of one or multiple MultiBooster units integrated into a subsea processing system. The multiphase pumps can either be arranged in parallel for increasing the output of wellfluid, or in series for high differential pressure.

The system is connected to the host facility through a service umbilical. This allows for the supply of power, chemicals, hydraulics, communication and pump barrier fluid for lubrication, cooling and pressure/volume compensation.

The MultiBooster is ideal for:

  • boosting of low pressure wellstream from subsea tie-backs

  • tail-end production for increased oil recovery

  • new subsea developments

The subsea MultiBooster is a complete subsea multiphase pump module, which combines well-proven twin-screw technology and the processing and subsea technology from Aker Solutions.
