The Kristin Field on the Norwegian Continental Shelf presented very real demands. As the main engineering contractor on the project, we developed a subsea field solution and exported via a semi-submersible platform.
Our philosophy is to achieve predictable and consistent performance. During the course of the project more than 40 development programmes were undertaken to qualify both materials and designs to ensure reliability under the extreme conditions they would face.
