Unitised SES wellhead with horizontal trees
Re-entry is greatly simplified since integral valves are out of the vertical wellbore. This allows much shorter, compact stack-up.
The conventional completion riser can be eliminated with associated cost and time savings. In heavy crude production or for secondary recovery, the horizontal tree is also ideally suited for use of electrical submersible pumps (ESP).
Sample of this widely used system is seen here in both field and design environment.
Aker Solutions horizontal trees are being increasingly recognised as superior for use in the major oilfields worldwide. Principal benefits include:
- Tubing workovers without removing the tree
- Reduced completion/re-entry time
- Simplified workover operations
- Uses field-proven components but allows wide flexibility in configuration
- Standard rig equipment and procedures
Unitised Splitter™ wellhead with horizontal trees
Designs for land and platforms:
- Improved, safer well control
- Reduced time for completion and re-entry time
- Simplified workover
- Tubing workover without tree removal
- Single and dual completion
Ideal for frequent re-entry. Integral valves out of vertical wellbore flowstream. With conventional tree equipment relocated to perimeter of tree spool body, stackup height reduced. Field-proven components, enhanced flexibility for user.
Horizontal trees are ideally suited for use with electrical submersible pumps as in heavy crude production or secondary recovery.
