Multifinger Caliper and 3D visualisation of data

A typical objective for a Well Intervention is to perform logging operations. The above picture gives an example of one of our casing inspection services. Corrosion, scale and mechanical damage to the production tubing may cause the need for recompleting the well. A Multifinger Imaging Tool (MIT) is used to accurately measure the internal diameter of the production tubing, thereby giving the customer background data when making decisions.
Aker Solution specialises on Wireline Logging Services in cased hole. Typical services are:
- Production Logging:for production optimisation
- Casing Inspection: to verify status of tubing
- Plug Setting: zonal isolation, water control
- Perforation: open undrained production zone
- Cutting of Tubing: cut tubing with electrical cutting tool (DECT)
All logging data is quality controlled before presented to the customer. The quality control is being performed by highly experienced onshore logging supervisor in the operation planning centre.
Compact surface panels
Compact surface panels provide easy mobilisation to offshore installations. The logging tools are conveyed on wireline to target depth. An operating voltage is supplied by the power panel, and logging data is sent up to be stored and interpreted.
3D-visualisation of multiphase flow in horizontal well section
Production Logging is performed to optimise production from individual wells and complete fields. The above picture shows visualisation of multi-phase flow data logged with the Capacitance Array Tool (CAT). The CAT tool is a part of the production logging string offered through Aker Solution's Wireline Logging Services.
The quality systems for all operations are accredited and certified to the ISO 9001:2000 standard.
