Acetic Acid

Aker Solutions is an approved contractor selected by BP to engineer its acetic acid process for its licensees. The particular engineering and operational experience of BP  and Aker Solutions is essential to the success of acetyls projects because such experience is limited. The reasons for this are the number of acetic acid units required by the market and by the very specialist nature of the technology needed, for instance in handling the severe conditions of the corrosive process fluids reliably.
