Aker Solutions has an extensive track record in polymers, and particularly, in many of the more than 150 world wide polyolefin plants designed based on Dow/Univation's Unipol™ technology. Aker Solutions was the first Union Carbide bidding contractor and has worked with Union Carbide, Dow and Univation for more than 35 years. Total nameplate capacity of "Unipol" Polypropylene and Polyethylene Plants engineered by Aker Solutions now exceeds 8,000,000 te/annum.
