Aker Solutions is through its subsidiaries and affiliates ("Aker Solutions") a leading global provider of services related to design, construction, maintenance, modification and operation of both large and small industrial facilities. In addition the group provides advanced technology products, either on their own or as part of integrated solutions. Aker Solutions is owned 40.27 percent by Aker Holding AS of which Aker ASA holds a controlling 60 percent, the Norwegian Government owns 30 percent, SAAB AB owns 7.5 percent and Investor AB owns 2.5 percent.

The financial reporting structure of the group is based on four business areas: Energy Development & Services, Subsea, Products & Technologies (P&T) and Process & Construction (P&C).
