Aker Solutions has its place again at the Offshore Technology Conference (OTC) in Houston, Texas, USA. In concert with the OTC theme, Aker Solutions celebrates its own wave of change, proudly showcasing a new name, a new brand and a prime location -booth 4117.

Visitors to the booth will experience products, technology and services from the vast offerings of Aker Solutions, as well as its parent company Aker. Although the company has a new name and brand identity (formerly Aker Kvaerner), its history in the Gulf of Mexico, off the Norwegian continental shelf and in several other offshore deepwater pockets has given it a well-recognised stake in some of the world’s leading technological developments. New CEO and President, Simen Lieungh will make an appearance at the conference this year and will take the opportunity to meet with several of the company’s customers.
New editions of the company’s world renowned magazine, Solutions™ and its corporate brochure, Powered to Perform™ draw attention to the new branding as well profile the services provided by company globally. The new brand, Aker Solutions, had its global unveiling on 3 April.
Aker Solutions will also host a mayoral delegation from Norway at their campus in West Houston where they will get an overview of the local content of the services provided from the Houston area employees and tour the seven locations for engineering services, technology and after service center.
An added attraction to the booth at the top of every hour will be a group of professional dancers in Aker Solutions "costumes" performing to the company's theme music. The performance is based on Aker Solutions’ award winning Norwegian commercial - a commercial designed to entice students to choose the industrial sciences as their field of study.
OTC is the largest oil & gas conference and exhibition in North America. A truly global audience of engineers, technical specialists and industry leaders gather to source and discuss new exploration and production technology, to debate new ideas and to discover the solutions that will deliver sustainable oil and gas in the future. This year's Exhibition and Conference is expected to be the biggest in the event's history with over 70 000 attendees.
