Aker Kvaerner will be exhibiting at the Offshore Europe Oil & Gas Conference & Exhibition (OE 2007). The 2007 conference will be taking place 4-7 September at the Aberdeen Exhibition & Conference Centre in Aberdeen (AECC).

At the conference, Aker Marine Contractors will present a Technical Paper on Aker Kvaerner’s Pencil Buoy Method on 7 September at 10.30 AM. Henrik Mork, and Johannes Lunde will describe how The Pencil Buoy patented method provides safer, more cost efficient transport and installation of subsea structures.

Aker Kvaerner in Aberdeen has signed an agreement with Kingswells School and Bankhead Academy to develop pupils’ interest in design and technology throughout their primary and secondary school education. The initiative is called “Determined to Succeed”. Some of the secondary school children will be visiting our stand during Offshore Europe week.
A number of models showcasing exciting products and services are integrated into the stand design and there will also be a recruitment corner where visitors can search for vacancies on our recruitment internet pages. Four times a day a group of professional dancers in Aker Kvaerner “costumes” will be performing.
Offshore Europe (OE) is the largest oil & gas conference and exhibition outside North America. A truly global audience of engineers, technical specialists and industry leaders gather to source and discuss new exploration & production technology, to debate new ideas and to discover the solutions that will deliver sustainable oil & gas in the future. This year’s Exhibition and Conference is expected to be the biggest in the event’s history with over 32 000 attendees.
