Port Klang, three years on

Nearly three years after Aker Solutions opened its subsea manufacturing facility in Port Klang, Malaysia, Crawford Tennant, head of manufacturing at Port Klang, reflects on the main achievements so far and some of the challenges going forward.

The USD 100 million centre is the worlds‘ only facility where a complete subsea production system can be manufactured and tested in one location.

Recently, Crown Prince Haakon and Crown Princess Mette-Marit of Norway visited the facility.
