"This is a great day for everyone working for Aker Solutions. We are in Malaysia, but we are also custodians of the Norwegian name. It is great for our staff here, and the facility we have here, to show the royal family of Norway what we can do," says Crawford Tennant, head of the Port Klang manufacturing facility.
In 2007, Aker Solutions officially opened a USD 100 million manufacturing facility for subsea technology at Port Klang, Malaysia. It is the worlds‘ only facility where a complete subsea production system can be manufactured and tested in one location.
