A rapid barite mixer enabling for rapid and dust free mixing of the barite. Fed with mud from a mud mixing pump and barite from the bulk storage tanks, the mixer arrangement is simple, rugged and virtually maintenance free.

Mixing of fluid and barite is performed in the mixing head. Transport air from the pneumatic feeding system is diluted through the perforated drop pipe, preventing large dust bubbles from reaching the mud pit surface.
All maintenance, installation and removal is performed on the tank top, there is no need for tank entry.
The rapid barite mixer is designed for an offshore environment, and is engineered to reduce maintenance and service to a minimum.
