Capable of screening drilled solids to levels as fine as 30 mesh, the flo-line Primer replaces traditional scalping shakers.
Features and benefits:
- The primer is powered by a rugged 1.5 hp drive motor for superior performance and durability. Right or left hand mounted drives are available.
- The primer utilises a variable speed conveyor system to transport solids off the machine without vibration. This enables precise control over solids conveyance speed as loading or pump rates increase.
- The long-life (average running time: 250 hours) inclined synthetic conveyor belt is available in 5, 10, 20 and 30 mesh, allowing control over cuttings’ dryness and conveyance capacity.
- Four access doors, one located on each side and two on the back of the machine, allow for easy clean out and simplified belt replacement.
- Built in by-pass offers the ability to divert fluid directly to the downstream shakers when the primer is not needed to remove sticky clays and gumbo.
- Counter rotating brush effectively cleans the belt without adding any water to the system.
The flo-line primer uses a conveyor screen to remove large drilled cuttings and hydrated clays from drilling fluid. Shakers with finer screens may then be used earlier in the process, leading to lower dilution and operating costs. The machine is available in two models:
- Flo-line primer 200, which is capable of processing up to 1200 GPM
- Flo-line primer 258, which is capable of processing up to 1500 GPM.
The primer’s conveyor screen is driven by a variablespeed 1.5 HP motor and direct gear drive. The variablespeed motor allows capacity of the standard unit to be increased to 1200 GPM. A long-life conveying screen, available in 5, 10, 20, or 30 mesh, permits control of capacity, cuttings dryness, and cut point. A builtin bypass allows the primer to be taken off line when scalping and/or gumbo removal is not required.
