Global DLS™ integration

Aker Solutions continues to strengthen and build up the global drilling lifecycle services (DLS) organisation. On top of the agenda now is the full integration of personnel who service Wirth products, such as mud pumps and drawworks.
Manager Sjur Henning Hollekim

An integration team, headed by global DLS manager Sjur Henning Hollekim, was established in January and has drawn up a specific action plan for creating uniform work processes and service offerings.

“We have experienced some challenges with support capabilities of our drawworks in the start-up phase of some rigs,” says Hollekim.

One corrective action is to set up a specific action plan for further integration of our global DLS services. During this spring we will continue to integrate our drawworks and mud pumps portfolio in our global DLS™ organisation. We do have excellent products and competent personnel, and through team efforts we will align and further develop our service performance.

“We are working hard to improve our set-up. Our target is that customers experience a coordinated group that provides the same high quality lifecycle service level globally. We know we still have a way to go, but we would like to let you know that we are taking action. We aim to share news of further progress on this topic in future editions of this newsletter.”
