Our jacket design and engineering team covers structural, marine and geotechnical disciplines, and executes projects with an effective project execution method (PEM).
The main focus is steel jackets (substructures) for offshore platforms, down to ~200 m water depths.
Aker Solutions started jacket fabrication in 1975 and has since delivered more than 40 jackets weighing from 1,000 to 20,000 tonnes, and from 70 to 215 meters high.
Our jacket project development services range from technology development studies, through screening, feasibility and concept studies, to front-end engineering design and detail engineering in EPC projects.
