The system provides highly efficient high-speed digital Ethernet based communications for both optical and electrical umbilical media, allowing data transmission over umbilical lengths in excess of 150km.
This new architecture allows continuous immediate data transmission from all instruments. Utilising this technology, new concepts such as virtual instruments and intelligent condition monitoring can be realised simply and quickly.

• 10Mb/s full duplex managed network to 150km for main umbilical communications
• 100Mb/s full duplex infield network communications
Electrical
• 140kb/s up to 60km for main umbilical communications
• Ability to multidrop to multiple control modules
• Up to100Mb/s full duplex point to point infield if SRM utilised on system
Combined power and signal
• 24Kb/s half duplex up to 67km with mutliple loads
