The SeaBooster™ system is a subsea process system for the injection of raw or filtered seawater for increased subsea oil recovery.
A seabed pump supplies water through an injection well into the hydrocarbon reservoir to maintain reservoir pressure and enhance oil recovery.
The system consists of a single retrievable liquid pump module (LiquidBooster™) with a filtration module that is separately retrievable from the pump module. The liquid pump is centrifugal multistage type and is driven by a water-filled motor. The filter unit is self-cleaning with hydraulic actuator and a water purging system. The SeaBooster™ system is connected to the host facility through a service umbilical for supply of power, chemicals, hydraulics and communication.
The SeaBooster™ injection system can either be a standalone structure at the seabed or incorporated into a production/injection subsea template.
