The GasBooster™ system is a subsea process system incorporating a GasBooster™ centrifugal compressor module and other process stages such as separator, scrubber, and liquids pump (LiquidBooster™).
The process is characterised by the separation of the gas and liquid phases of the wellfluid, followed by pressure boosting using rotating centrifugal equipment on each phase. The pressure boosted gas and liquid can either be commingled for multiphase transport in a single pipeline, or can be transported in different pipelines to one or more host facilities.The GasBooster is ideal for large Gas fields and "Subsea to Beach" developments.
The process system may be configured with individually retrievable modules for the compressor, scrubber/separator and pump. The preferred configuration will depend on the process conditions. The system is connected to the host facility through a service umbilical for the supply of power, chemicals, hydraulics and communication.
