Aker Solutions has over the last few years developed a standardised workover control system. The system's architecture enables future upgrades and allows for both cross field and cross vendor well interventon.
The WOCS provides the means to remotely power and control, electrically and hydraulically, the workover operations. The multiWOCS™ system is based on field proven components and is designed according to the ISO 13628-7 standard. The design is modular, where the HPU and MCU are divided into seperate containers.
Apart from the umbilical, reels and jumpers included, the riserGRIP™ clamp safely and easily attaches the umbilicals to the C/WO riser.
