Aker Solutions has over the last few years developed a standardised workover control system (WOCS). The system's architecture enables future upgrades and allows for both cross-field and cross-vendor well intervention.
The WOCS provides the means to remotely power and control, electrically and hydraulically, the workover operations. The multiWOCS™ system is based on field proven components and is designed according to the ISO 13628-7 standard. The design is modular, where the HPU and MCU are divided into separate containers.
Apart from the umbilical, reels and jumpers included, the riserGRIP™ clamp safely and easily attaches the umbilicals to the C/WO riser.
