Our vertical XT system is rated to 10,000 psi (690 Bar), extended temperature class P U, -29°C to 135°C. The vertical XT orients onto a permanent guide base (PGB) and lands and locks on top of the wellhead assembly.

The vertical XT can be used as both guideline less or with guidelines, it is a dual bore conventional vertical tree with the production bore and the annulus bore at the standard ISO offset to the centerline of the master valve block.

The vertical XT is designed with a two-stage alignment and orientation system from rough to final alignment. Initial orientation and alignment is achieved through the funnel down arrangement at the bottom of the tree assembly to the PGB. Final alignment is achieved when the orientation key on the isolation sleeve at the bottom of the tree locates into the groove inside the top of tubing hanger.

Aker Solutions` vertical XT is a compact design minimising leak paths and features metal-to-metal sealing with elastomeric back-up throughout. The integral 18-3/4" wellhead connector has been integrated towards a multitude of different wellhead systems and it provides great performance with respect to wellhead fatigue.

Ongoing development will take the standard vertical XT further with a large bore solution available in near future.

Aker Solutions offers standard products to reduce lead time, cost and significantly lower project execution risks.

Our standard trees can be used both for template and overtrawlable satellite solutions and can be installed by drill string or wire.

An appurtenant tooling scope is available for rental or purchase.
