Our staff has long and varied experience within petroleum and reservoir engineering. Our consultants are experts in areas ranging from analytical methods and decline curve analysis to advanced modelling, simulation and history matching. Aker Solutions has extensive experience in IOR - studies and has been widely used on several fields on the Norwegian Continental Shelf.
Reservoir modelling is a core business area. Our reservoir engineers and reservoir geologists are considered experts in both stochastic and deterministic volumetric evaluations. Also reservoir simulation of 'black oil' and compositional, dual porosity fall within our core competence.
Some of our personnel are widely recognised authorities on upscaling and saturation modelling. These persons have also contributed in the development of several commonly used softwares like Eclipse and IRAP RMS.
We are often asked to support oil companies and investors with asset valuation advice. Our inhouse developed quicklook toolbox can be used to efficiently perform fast track evaluations is such projects.
