Compact technologies

In addition many of our technologies are qualified for subsea use where deployment minimum weight and ease of maintenance are key design priorities. Our compact technologies reduce the size of and/or increase the performance of conventional, full size equipment.

Our compact technologies are ideal for debottlenecking existing facilities where a requirement exists to increase through put, yet space is restricted. Modular design also provides greater flexibility over equipment location. In addition our compact systems are highly resistant to the induced motion associated with FPSO’s and often have a wider operational window than a conventional system.

Aker Solutions compact systems are easier to maintain with most internals being easily removable. This minimises down time and allows easy modification to accomdate changes in the prevailing process conditions.

Compact electrostatic Coalescer (CEC™)

CEC™ significantly improves coalescence efficiency of and existing separator, thus making process more effective, compact and easier to maintain.

Compact cyclonic separator (CySep™)

CySep™ is a compact, modular cyclonic separation system that consists of several cyclonic separation components which enable bulk removal of water from well streams. In addition, CySep™ can also perform full three phase separation.

Compact cyclonic degasser (G Sep CCD™)

G-Sep CCD™ is a compact cyclonic two-phase separator that provides gas/liquid separation and gas scrubbing in a single, integrated unit.
