Chemicals injection
A chemical injection unit can be provided with the gas processing system for injection of pH controller/corrosion inhibitor and antifoam solution.
Stripping Column
Stripping gas is used to achieve high glycol concentrations and maintain maximum dew point depressions.
Aker Solutions AKDry process:
AKdry is a glycol (TEG or DEG) gas drying process enhanced by using closed condensate loop to strip the regenerated glycol.
It is over performing:
- Lean glycol concentration up to 99.999% weight
- Water dew point down to 1 ppm
- Reduced losses
It is green:
- No use of stripping gas
- No emission to the atmosphere
- No subject to CO² tax
It is economical:
- No use of stripping gas
- Recovery of hydrocarbons dissolved in the glycol
