DeepBooster™

The DeepBooster™ system is a subsea processing system for separating the gas and liquid phases of a wellfluid, followed by pressure boosting of the liquid phase.
The DeepBooster™ system is a subsea processing system for separating the gas and liquid phases of a wellfluid, followed by pressure boosting of the liquid phase.

Each of the phases is transported to the host facility topside through separate risers.

The system consists of a manifold with a retrievable gas-liquid separator (CCD compact cyclonic degasser) module and a retrievable liquid pump module (LiquidBooster™).

A vertical connector is used for tie-in to the pipeline and riser.  Electrical power, communication, hydraulic and utilities are supplied through an integrated steel tube umbilical. The system can be expanded to incorporate modules for subsea pig launching and solids management.

Recycling of liquid from the pump discharge, in combination with pump variable speed control, is used to control the liquid level in the separator. The variable speed drive is located on the host topside.
