Hibernia
The Hibernia GBS was constructed to resist impact from icebergs and harsh weather conditions ensuring a continous and safe operation.
Scope of work:
- Construction management of the GBS in the dry dock.
- Marine operations of the GBS; inshore tow, mooring, deckmating and offhsore tow and installation on the field.
The Hibernia platform has a concrete gravity base with oil storage and the base is designed specially for ice infested waters. The base is constructed in a complex pattern of walls designed to take the load from the impact of an iceberg.
