Aker Solutions and Stiftelsen VI are proud to host a full-day seminar where we focus on technology that provides disabled people with opportunities to participate in physical activities.
The Minister of Health and Care Services, Bent Høie, will open the event. Dag Erik Pedersen, former professional cyclist and well-known sports journalist will be the master of ceremony of the day.
Through this event, we want to create awareness on the challenges disabled people have with being physically active and engaging in sports. To address this, we have invited representatives from public service, the sports community, next-of-kin and the disabled community. In addition, suppliers that are specialized in assistive technology will come and show what opportunities technology can bring in this domain.
The target audience of the seminar are those who use or work with assistive technology, activity for disabled, para-sports and daily activities. With this seminar we want inspire conversations and collaboration towards a common goal. Our ambition is to establish a lasting meeting place which can initiate collaboration across different interest groups and stakeholders.
