What will you be doing?

  • Ensure the quality and timeliness of own deliveries according to project plans, procedures, and routines.
  • Assist in updating insulation discipline procedures.
  • Prepare job packages, ensuring compliance with project requirements and quality standards.
  • Perform design verification in the 3D model.
  • Ensure the building method is applied in Insulation Fabrication Engineering.
  • Divide job packages for efficient and construction-friendly execution.
  • Review engineering and vendor documentation, addressing discrepancies or missing information with suppliers.
  • Continuously improve work processes and products within the area of responsibility.
  • Collaborate with relevant disciplines, planning teams, suppliers, subcontractors, and production.

We think you should have:

  • Solid theoretical understanding of piping and equipment insulation, including work processes and requirements.
  • Familiarity with relevant project documents, standards, and specifications.
  • Proficiency in MIPS, CCS, and 3D/2D-CAD software.
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree with relevant expertise (equivalent experience may substitute for formal education).
  • Openness to travel occasionally to visit the site and colleagues in Norway.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
  • Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work independently.
  • Proactive attitude and strong work ethic.

Aker Solutions together with Randstad, is currently looking for an Insulation Engineer who will join the team and strengthen our capabilities in the brand-new Gdańsk office.
