Independent Assurance Statement
For 2022, Aker Solutions’ GRI reporting and selected sustainability metrics have been subject to a limited assurance audit engagement by PwC. The independent assurance statement can be found in the appendix of the 2022 Sustainability Report.
Aker Solutions commissioned LRQA Group Limited to provide independent assurance on the company’s greenhouse gas emissions in 2021. The assurance engagement covered Aker Solutions and its subsidiaries in global operation.
The Independent Assurance Statement includes emissions data for Scope 1, 2 and 3 for 2020 and 2021.
Aker Solutions commissioned Position Green to complete a comprehensive materiality assessment, following the GRI-3 (2021) Materiality Standard. The independent assessment considers the significance of actual and potential impacts and determined the company’s material topics for 2022 reporting purposes.
Aker Solutions strives to report climate accounting that is accurate, transparent and as complete as possible. Our Emissions Methodology Statement describes how emissions data is collected, calculated and presented and is based on the GHG Protocol Corporate Accounting and Reporting Standard.
