We are looking for a Reliability & Maintenance Engineer to join our team in Fornebu. This is an exciting opportunity for early-career professionals who want to build a strong foundation in reliability and maintenance engineering. You will be part of a team of specialists working on a wide range of projects, from early-phase concept and front-end studies to large-scale EPCI (engineering, procurement, construction, and installation) projects. In this role, you will collaborate with experienced colleagues across multiple disciplines, gain valuable industry knowledge, and contribute to innovative solutions in both renewable energy and oil and gas.
If you are a graduate 2026, you will be a part of Aker Solutions Graduate Program 2026.
What will you be doing?
- Conduct technical evaluations of reliability, operations, and maintenance for energy facilities (renewables and oil & gas)
- Develop and maintain operation and maintenance procedures and manuals
- Identify, assess, and contribute to resolving potential operational and maintenance challenges
- Propose and develop strategies to improve design reliability
- Design and implement maintenance plans and schedules
- Collaborate with other disciplines and provide input during equipment specification and procurement.
- Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental standards
- Develop Data-Driven Maintenance, including design, identify requirements, and implementation of CBM/PdM
- Evaluate and optimize spare part management, covering capital, commissioning, and operational spares
We think you should have:
- MSc degree in Maintenance, Reliability, or a related field
- Knowledge of operational and maintenance requirements for industrial facilities, ideally including oil & gas and renewables
- Familiarity with maintenance and reliability methods such as RAM, FMECA, or RCM
- Understanding of equipment functionality and performance
- Ability to contribute to the development and optimization of operation and maintenance procedures
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Early-career professionals (0–3 years of experience) are encouraged to apply
