We are now hiring an HR Global Mobility Manager to join our team and support our efforts at our Oslo, Norway office. The Manager for the Global Mobility and Cross-Border Assignment (CBAT) Team plays a key role within the People & Organization function, reporting directly to the Head of Global Mobility. While this role does not carry formal personnel management responsibilities, it provides day-to-day operational oversight and guidance to the CBAT team.
This is a strategic and hands-on role. You’ll work closely with the Head of Global Mobility to shape initiatives, develop policies, and oversee the full lifecycle of international assignments. You will also take a hands-on approach, handling daily global mobility tasks within the CBAT team.
What will you be doing?
Policy Development & Compliance
- Refine Global Mobility policies to ensure they support business objectives, ensure compliance, and reflect market conditions, while standardizing and aligning global guidelines and processes
- Collaborate with tax, legal, and immigration providers to ensure compliance with local laws and global standards
- Advise on exceptions and deviations from standard mobility policies, balancing risk and business needs
International Assignment Lifecycle (A–Z Portfolio)
- Oversee and deliver cost estimates, assignment budgets, contracts, and support business units with financial planning and decision-making
- Manage, develop, implement, and deliver on efficient processes across the full lifecycle of international assignments, including pre-assignment planning, relocation, ongoing support, and repatriation
- Drive continuous improvement to ensure seamless employee experience and operational efficiency
Team & Collaboration
- Provide operational leadership and coaching to the Cross Border team, ensuring efficient delivery of mobility services and support of ongoing improvement initiatives
- Provide expert advice on complex mobility cases, country entries and cross-border work, ensuring compliance with global tax, immigration, and employment regulations to leaders, projects, and employees
- Collaborate closely with all relevant internal and external stakeholders. Especially with our external vendors of mobility service globally, ensuring cost-efficiency, quality, and timeliness
We think you should have:
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, International Business, or related field (master’s preferred)
- 3+ years of experience in Global Mobility or International HR, management experience is a plus
- Established expertise in global tax, immigration, relocation, and mobility tools/platforms
- Proven track record in developing and implementing global policies and processes
- Strong stakeholder management, coaching, and team-building skills across international locations
- Ability to work independently with a focus on attention to detail and problem solving
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Fluency in English. A proficiency in Norwegian is an advantage. Other language skills are a plus
