Summer Internship - Engineering for Project Execution

We are looking for students who are interested in internships within the energy industry at Aker Solutions Stord. Our Summer Internship will provide you with valuable insight and learning opportunities that can benefit your future career growth.

The program has a duration of 6 weeks from 22.06.2026

Aker Solutions at Stord has a wide span of professionals with different career path opportunities. As a Summer Intern you will work in a team with focus on specific tasks assigned to you and will receive introductions to key areas and support from experienced colleagues from across our business. You will engage in learning and development activities alongside fellow students.

• An unique opportunity to learn and develop under extensive guidance and training
• Gain insight into engineering for production and operations at Stord Yard
• Throughout the internship you will be able to further develop critical skills such as collaboration, communication, presentation, planning and time management
• The program includes social events that will give you the opportunity to expand your network among fellow students

• Ongoing Bachelor/master’s degree in science or engineering, preferably from their second year onwards.
• An analytical and structural mindset
• A curious mindset with an eagerness to learn.
• A team-player attitude with a proactive, flexible and solutions-oriented mindset, and strong work ethics.
• Fluent communication in Norwegian

We are looking for students who are from the district of Sunnhordland or nearby and can work on a daily basis at Stord’s office. Students must arrange their own accommodation.
