In Life Cycle, we work closely with existing energy installations throughout their entire lifespan — from early studies and modifications to technical improvements and operational optimization. We are currently seeking an experienced Estimation & Measurement Advisor to join our strong professional environment in Aker Solutions' state-of-the-art premises in Stavanger.In this role, you will contribute to complex projects that support safe operations, increase value creation, and reduce the carbon footprint across the energy industry.

What will you be doing?

In this role, you will contribute to Estimation & Cost activities, including:

• Coordinating and preparing cost estimates and man-hour calculations across all project phases
• Collaborating closely with engineering, planning, procurement, and cost disciplines
• Performing analysis and follow-up of estimates versus as-built figures
• Driving continuous improvement in processes and ways of working
• Contributing to digitalization and development of smarter tools and methods
• Supporting benchmarking activities to strengthen cost accuracy and competitiveness

We think you should have:

Qualifications and Experience

• Proven experience in estimation and cost analysis
• Advanced Excel skills, including extensive use of formulas and data analysis
• Strong digital understanding and a keen interest in continuous improvement initiatives

Education and Skills

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, Engineering, Business, or a related field
• Strong collaboration skills with the ability to build positive working relationships
• Analytical mindset with a structured, precise, and detail-oriented approach
• Curious, proactive, and solution-oriented way of working
• Work well on own initiative
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken
• Fluency in both Norwegian and English (written and spoken) is an advantage
