Join our growing Instrument team in Stavanger

We are strengthening our Instrument organization and are looking for more Senior Instrument Engineers who can contribute with broad technical competence, project execution experience and mentorship of younger engineers.

You will become part of a cluster-based engineering organization where flexibility, multidisciplinary collaboration, knowledge sharing and continuous improvement are key success factors.

What will you be doing?

  • Deliver instrument engineering in modification and maintenance projects.
  • Lead technical activities within your area of expertise.
  • Support projects through all phases of execution.
  • Mentor and develop junior engineers.
  • Contribute to standardization and knowledge sharing across the Instrument cluster.
  • Drive simplification, digitalization and improved engineering practices.
  • Support implementation of new engineering methods, automation and AI-enabled work processes.

Typical tasks may include, but not limited to:

  • Instrument system design.
  • Automation and control engineering.
  • Fire & Gas systems engineering.
  • Supplier follow-up and technical evaluations.
  • Design reviews and interdisciplinary coordination.
  • Development of installation documentation and work packages.
  • Client interface and offshore support.
  • Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives across projects and engineering disciplines.
  • Contribute to development of standardized engineering methods and best practices.
  • Drive digitalization, automation and AI-enabled improvements to engineering workflows.
  • Support competence development and knowledge sharing across the Instrument cluster.

We think you should have:

We think you should have

  • 8+ years of relevant instrument engineering experience.
  • Wide and strong technical understanding across multiple instrument engineering areas
  • Experience from offshore modification and maintenance projects.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to take ownership and drive technical solutions.
  • Ability to mentor and develop others.
  • Interest in digitalization, AI and engineering process improvements.
  • Ability to work across projects and technical domains in line with our cluster strategy.
