Our office at Stord is now looking for a Quality Control Manager.

What will you be doing?

  • Management and budget responsibility for Quality control and welding discipline in projects
  • Prepare and maintain Inspection and Test Plan (ITP) and coordinate ITP activities and notification in projects
  • Report status on quality to relevant stakeholders and participate in internal and external meetings
  • Follow up and report quality performance of subcontractors
  • Ensure governing documents, scope of work and instructions are understood and used
  • Coordinate the preparation of as build documentation, lessons learned and experience transfer to other projects.

We think you should have:

  • Relevant bachelor degree
  • 5-10 years relevant experience, leadership experience is preferred
  • Long experience may compensate for lack of formal education.
  • Experience from quality control of welding, NDT, dimensional control, surface or insulation disciplines is preferred
  • In general good computer skills
  • Strong co-operation and communication skills
  • Creative and systematic mind-set
  • Fluent English written and verbal
