We are looking for a Senior Construction Engineer to join our team based in our Aberdeen (AIBP) office with some travel to offshore / sites.
What will you be doing?

To carry out professional engineering, procurement, construction, installation, and completion activities in a competent and efficient manner whilst ensuring that the technical and safety integrity of engineering being performed is maintained at all times.

Ensure project deliverables are generated using Aker Solutions systems and tools.

Review, check the work of others and be responsible for their performance within their discipline / function.

Compilation of weekly reports on progress via project tools where applicable.

Execute the workscopes assigned, safely, on time, in budget and ensure the technical integrity of the installation from the construction perspective.

Accountable for the effective administration and implementation of Management of Change.

Preparation of cost and time/man-hour estimates via Aker Solutions Systems where applicable.
- HNC/HND /City and Guilds level or University civil engineering degree or relevant education with 5 to 7 years experience in front end studies, FEED and/or EPCI projects from energy sector.
- Strong commitment to HSE and safety.
- Experience in participation in HAZOP/HAZID reviews
- Solution oriented with good communication and collaboration skills
- Knowledge of Legislation applicable to construction (DCR, LOLER etc.)
- Strong work ethics and a proactive attitude
- The ability to train and mentor discipline engineers
- A commercial mindset, good communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- The ability to see solutions together with meeting customer expectations and requirements
- The competency to be accurate, flexible and organized
- Willing to work in a hybrid structure with regular visits to the primary office as well as offshore / site visits
