Planning Application Owner

We are looking for an experienced and proactive Planning Application Owner to join our IT & Digitalization team in Trondheim, Bergen, Fornebu or Stavanger. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that Aker Solutions’ key planning applications and their interfaces are configured, maintained, and operated in accordance with internal governance, procedures, and approved project-specific exceptions.

The role will be accountable for ensuring that the major planning systems and interfaces in Aker Solutions are configured and maintained according to governance/procedures and approved exceptions for projects.

Responsibilities and tasks include but are not limited to:

• Ensure a smooth mobilization and operation of the planning application and interfaces to other applications
• Advice and support in application setup
• Assist in Quality assurance of the database content and working methods applied in projects
• Assist the Superusers with guidance and support
• Engage with planning discipline with respect to efficient utilization and enhancements of the application
• Ensure establishment and maintenance of principles and methods for information exchange, including electronic transfer, between other contractors, subcontractors, suppliers and client, hereunder act as Data Domain Steward for Planning and Progress data
• Contributing to continuous improvement and facilitating digitalization initiatives for instance as advisor on planning data for AI initiatives
• Participate in network for application

• Relevant education. Relevant experience may compensate for formal qualifications
• 5-10 years of versatile experience with Safran and/or Primavera applications
• Extensive experience with one or more of the applications, its capabilities and limitations; i.e. Safran Project, Safran Risk, Primavera, Document Scheduler, ILAP Data Exchange, ILAP Analytics and all related interfaces
• It is an advantage to be familiar with the working methods in Aker Solution
• Good communication skills in both Norwegian and English is an advantage
