Electrical Engineer

• Design verification for electrical, instrumentation, and telecommunications, as well as cable steel and early outfitting.
• Review of engineering and supplier documentation and provision of feedback to suppliers in the event of missing information or inaccuracies.
• Review of the 3D model (PDMS) for subsequent project stages (construction and installation).
• Responsible for preparing work packages and overseeing changes to be implemented within work packages to ensure production efficiency.
• Monitoring project compliance with regulations and standards.
• Collaboration with internal teams (design and engineering) and external suppliers.

• A university degree in electrical engineering (if you have relevant professional experience in the HV field, a degree is not required).
• Several years of experience in a similar position.
• Experience conducting design verification in electrical engineering.
• Experience collaborating with external suppliers and verifying supplier documentation.
• Knowledge of electrical installation regulations and the NORSOK standard (preferred).
• Fluent English (minimum B2).
• Knowledge of 3D modeling software and Microsoft programs (detailed training in the systems used at Aker Solutions will be provided by the company).
• Excellent communication skills, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
