What Are The Jobs?

We have a variety of entry-level schemes for students and recent graduates, including vacation placements, internships, sponsorships, graduate training programs and cooperative education.

Our graduate training programs are ‘real jobs’ that challenge the academic excellence trainees showed while in school, and give them experience and skills as engineers and management professionals as the first step in a long-term Aker Solutions career. As a trainee, you will be part of a global team and learn from the best in a variety of short-term assignments. You will learn a lot about our industry, gain an international network and experience. We have programs in such places as North America, the United Kingdom and India.

We also periodically open for applications to our International Talent Program, which consists of three, eight-month assignments for young professionals in different roles, businesses and locations within Aker Solutions’ global network of offices and technology and manufacturing centers. This is a global program, but focuses on specific regions when opening for applications.

In addition, we have work experience placements and technical or commercial apprenticeships for those choosing to leave school upon completion of compulsory education.
