Aker Solutions announces changes to the executive management team

Aker Solutions has appointed Guro Rausand as Executive Vice President (EVP) of New Build. 

Guro Rausand returned to Aker Solutions from OneSubsea in June 2024 to take on her current role of EVP Safeguarding. Before joining OneSubsea in October 2023, Guro spent 15 years with Aker Solutions, leading subsea projects across the globe.  

Sturla Magnus has been appointed Executive Vice President of Selected Projects, after serving as EVP New Build since April 2023, and previously leading the Topsides & Facilities business since November 2020. Sturla has extensive experience from leadership roles in Aker Solutions and Kvaerner, and companies such as AF Gruppen and Skanska.

Geir Glømmi has been appointed Executive Vice President Fixed Alliance Facility Projects. Since joining Aker Solutions in 2011, Geir has held a variety of leadership positions spanning subsea, HR and greenfield projects, including serving as interim EVP Greenfield Projects.

As part of streamlining the organizational structure, the Safeguarding function will be discontinued, with its units integrated into relevant segments and other functions.

These changes will be effective from September 1.
