Åmela power plant is owned and operated by Tussa Energi. The plant is located in Volda municipality, Møre & Romsdal county, Western Norway, near Dalsfjorden.

The station lies inside the mountain at Åmelfoten and utilizes a 536-meter head, the vertical distance between the Åmela river system between Storlidvatnet and the turbine at fjord level.

The station has had an annual production of approx. 128 GWh of renewable energy since it came online in 1977 . In 2021, Aker solutions was awarded the contract for replacement of the powerhouse control system. Commissioning of the new system was completed in 2023.
