We are currently seeking a General Manager to join our Asset Integrity and Management (AIM) team in St. John's, NL

What will you be doing?

• Responsible for the overall leadership, strategic direction, operational performance, and financial success of the Asset Integrity and Management (AIM) business.
• Lead and manage operations in accordance with company standards and strategic objectives, ensuring delivery excellence, operational efficiency, and compliance with corporate policies, client specifications, regulatory requirements, project schedules, budgets, and established procedures.
• Maintain full accountability for business performance, including profit and loss management, growth initiatives, strategic planning, and business development activities.
• Serve as the primary client interface for contractual and commercial matters, fostering strong customer relationships while driving continuous improvement in HSSEQ performance, schedule adherence, budget control, and operational execution.
• Develop and execute business strategies that support sustainable growth, operational excellence, market expansion, and long-term organizational objectives.
• Collaborate with technical and functional leaders to ensure appropriate workforce planning, resource allocation, competency development, and training programs are in place to meet current and future business requirements.
• Identify, champion, and implement continuous improvement initiatives, operational efficiencies, and cost-effective solutions that enhance service delivery, productivity, and overall business performance.
• Demonstrate visible safety leadership by promoting a strong HSSE culture, ensuring all identified risks and concerns are effectively mitigated before work commences, and ensuring all incidents are reported, investigated, and corrective actions are implemented and sustained.
• Foster a high-performance culture focused on accountability, employee engagement, talent development, innovation, and continuous improvement while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and integrity.

We think you should have:

• Bachelor’s degree or technical diploma in engineering, or a combination of education and related experience.
• Minimum 15 years’ experience in Asset Integrity Management (AIM) and Inspection field services.
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in a leadership role.
• Comprehensive experience and knowledge in administering and managing an Asset Integrity Management operation.
• Comply with Aker Solutions HSSE Policy, all safety practices and other HSSE requirements when executing activities and other operations.
• Promote and work within the Life Saving Rules.
• Demonstrate a HSSE Mindset and take personal responsibility for your safety and wellbeing.
• Intervene and utilize Stop Work Authority when unsafe conditions or behaviours are present.
• Act as a role model and influence the safe execution of work within your area of operation.
• Embrace and demonstrate our company attitudes and adapt behaviours to suit a situation or challenge.
