Linda Litlekalsøy Aase resigns as executive vice president in Aker Solutions. She will take on a new position as CEO for the global aquaculture company SalMar ASA.

Aase has since 2020 been part of Aker Solutions’ executive management team, where she has been responsible for the business segment Electrification, Maintenance and Modifications (EMM). She joined Aker Solutions in 2014 and has almost 20 years of industry experience, including a variety of leadership positions including head of Aker Solutions’ brownfield projects delivery center, and the maintenance, modifications and operations business in Norway.

"During my eight years in Aker Solutions, I have learned to admire the people here, and their world leading expertise for energy solutions. There are so many reasons to join the Aker Solutions team, and I have never wanted to leave. And simultaneously, I can in my new role in SalMar contribute to the further development of this fantastic organization, and this inspiring opportunity is one I have to take. The already established collaboration between SalMar and Aker will also be one of the exciting enablers for how we can evolve the aquaculture business," said Linda Litlekalsøy Aase.

"Linda has done a great job in Aker Solutions, not the least in her latest position as EVP for the EMM segment. Even during the pandemic, her performance has been well recognized by our customers and business partners, she has developed her people, and she has in the executive management team been a driver in Aker Solutions’ strategic transition process. We wish her all the best in her new role," said Kjetel Digre, chief executive officer of Aker Solutions.

The process to appoint a successor for the position as EVP for EMM has started. Linda Litlekalsøy Aaase will continue as head of the business segment until further notice.
