Den Høgvyrde Kronprins Haakon kjem på offisielt besøk til Aker Solutions på Stord onsdag 8. februar, for å bli betre kjent med verksemda sitt arbeid med berekraft og omstilling til nye marknader. Besøket er ein del av programmet for å markera kronprinsparet sine 50-årsdagar. 

Aker Solutions has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Mainstream Renewable Power (“Mainstream”), an Aker Horizons company, Ocean Winds and Statkraft, to collaborate on offshore wind at Utsira Nord in Norway. Mainstream, Ocean Winds and Statkraft are in a consortium to pursue an application to develop floating wind power at the Utsira Nord license area in 2023.

Aker Solutions, together with Aker Carbon Capture has been awarded a full front-end engineering and design (FEED) contract by Hafslund Oslo Celsio (Celsio), the largest supplier of district heating in Norway, to develop carbon capture at its waste-to-energy facility at Klemetsrud in Oslo, Norway.

The Board of Directors of Aker Solutions ASA (“Aker Solutions”) has resolved to initiate a share buy-back program of up to NOK 500 million (the “Share Buy-Back”) as announced in connection with the presentation of Q4 2023 results on February 8, 2024.
