AUGUST 14, 2024: Aker Solutions has received a fine of NOK 600,000 from the Norwegian police, following the work-related fatality at the Egersund yard October 13, 2022. The accident occurred when a truck driver from a supplier was hit by heavy scaffolding parts during unloading. Aker Solutions will accept the fine.
