Aker Solutions' Compensation and Benefits team based in Kuala Lumpur and is responsible for driving compensation and benefits initiative across Asia Pacific.

We are looking for candidate with good experience, strong analytical skills and attitude who can strengthen our team and support our ambitious growth plans within the area of compensation and benefits. We are looking for Specialist Compensation and Benefits.

Responsibilities and Tasks:

  • To lead annual administration and execution of salary review processes and variable pay processes
  • To lead and execution of global share purchase program, monitor and support career model discussion for the region, ensure end to end process in relation to salary proposal discussions and approvals with various stakeholders and ensure end to end processes for market benchmarking. This includes participations in surveys, completion of data, audit of data, quality checks and preparation of analysis
  • To provide procedural and practice advisory support to management and key stakeholders to support business needs
  • To provide holistic advice taking into account market practices, practice sin other AKSO region and much more
  • The role holder is expected to look for solutions to address issues being faced before further discussion with other senior leaders within the function
  • To run market competitive compensation analysis and provide analysis to support business needs
  • To support in running pay mix analysis by country for region and development of guidelines and documentation of all compensation and benefits processes
  • To review and study impact of tax and other changes of law impacting compensation matters in the region
  • To ensure all compensation vendors have the necessary agreements in place to match company requirement
  • To focus on continuous improvement of internal processes to better serve the business

Qualifications and Personal Qualities:

  • Strong specialist knowledge and experience in the areas of compensation & benefits, numerical & analytical skills, attention to detail, strong experience of data analysis and market benchmarking and ble to provide insights and recommendations based on analysis
  • Ability to demonstrate organized, pro-active and planned approach
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Comfortable with maintaining and developing relationships across different stakeholders
  • Capable of working on own projects and taking responsibility for workload
  • Experience of managing a number of projects and priorities at the same time, dealing with highly confidential and sensitive information and comfortable providing support and guidance in all areas of compensation and benefits
  • Comfortable working in an international environment and culturally aware
  • Ability to be persuasive in order to guide and influence stakeholders in the area of compensation decision making
  • Able to guide and mentor non specialist HR personnel
  • Advanced Excel skills and intermediate Word skills
